National film Awards for 2013 were announced by government of india. As usual from south, Tamilnadu and Kerala states bags more awards than telugu cinema. Pawan's Attarintiki Daredi and Mahesh's SVSC has been nominated for these awards, But the committee decided that none of these movies have the eligibility to won national award. Apart from this the surprising thing was a unknown and unpopular telugu film "Na Bangaru Talli" bagged three national awards in three categories (direction, best actor, background score). This was a great shock to star heros movies and good gesture to small and talented movie makers.
