Disha Patani is one of the most desirable actresses in B-town. Obviously, with today being Valentine’s Day, a lot of men would have loved to date the actress. However, a few college students have something else in mind. They plan to have a puja and worship Disha for losing their virginity! Surprised? Wait till you hear about the whole ritual.
Single guys from Hindu College in Delhi worship a so called – Damdami Mai every year on Valentine’s Day. An actress is chosen by hostel students and a puja is conducted at the Virgin Tree inside the campus on February 14. And this year, Disha Patani is the chosen one for this bizarre ritual. Vaibhav Singh, a second-year student and hosteller at the college, told Times of India, “The second and third-year hostellers have chosen her (Disha). We picked her after having a meeting. Along with Disha, one name that was also considered was of Nargis Fakhri, but since most of the guys liked Disha, we have chosen her as our Damdami Mai.”

Elaborating on the process of selecting the actress and the rituals, Vaibhav added, “Damdami Mai is usually the actress who has been popular in that particular year, and who is also voted for by the most hostellers. Like always, we will have the puja on the morning of February 14. And a fresher will perform the puja as he will be the pandit for that day. As always, condoms will be used to decorate the Virgin Tree.”
This bizarre ritual is conducted so that virgin boys can lose their virginity. The leading daily confirmed this when they mentioned how students believe that all those who participate in the puja, will find their partner within the next 6 months and lose their virginity within a year of performing the puja.
While we are appalled and shocked by this ritual, we wonder what Disha’s boyfriend Tiger Shroff has to say about this latest piece of news?
